June 26, 2014 -- WORZALLA announced a plan to add capacity and perfecting technology to its sheetfed press department.
The Heidelberg XL 106-8-P, an eight unit (4/4) perfecting press, is the first production perfecting press to be installed at WORZALLA, a book manufacturer with a reputation for high quality color printing.
“Heidelberg’s latest perfecting transfer technology allows us to produce work at the quality levels that our customers demand,” stated Jim Fetherston, President and CEO at WORZALLA.
The press is scheduled to arrive in December 2014 and will be operational by February 2015.
“After an extensive due diligence process, we chose Heidelberg in order to capitalize on benchmark press speeds and industry best in-press color control and registration capabilities, while also achieving a confidence level to deliver product quality that achieves all customer expectations,” stated Vice President-Operations Kris Koch.
