June 21, 2014 -- WORZALLA hosted its 27th annual Keen’s Dinner on June 18th in New York. More than 40 senior executives – a virtual Who’s Who in the publishing industry – were brought together for an evening of socializing at Keen’s Steakhouse on West 36th Street.

“We’ve hosted this event for 27 years to say thank you to all of you who support us. We’re highly aware you have lots of choices, on this continent and others, and we are extraordinarily grateful that you select us to print your books,” stated WORZALLA CEO Jim Fetherston in his opening remarks.

Mr. Fetherston referenced a quote from John Fitzgerald Kennedy: “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.”

He indicated that the 300 employee-owners at WORZALLA try to pay heed to that sound advice every day, for we know that even after 122 years in operation, without our customers we would quickly become history.

Mr. Fetherston announced that the company has invested more than $15 million in updating pre-press, pressroom, finishing and logistics operations.

“We’ve made these investments mainly to ensure we continue to exceed your expectations for service and quality, but also to be able to provide the additional capacity that you’ve asked us for,” he stated. “We are deeply grateful for your continued trust in WORZALLA and its people.”
